PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To temporarily fasten the temporarily fastened end portions of mechanical tapes at low cost by enabling heat sealing at low temperatures. SOLUTION: The disposable diaper comprises a top sheet 1, a back sheet 2, an absorber core 3 interposed between both sheets 1 and 2, and a gathered sheet 4 forming leg portions. Sticking tapes 13 which can be removably attached to a predetermined portion of one 5 of front and rear waist portions 5 and 6 are secured to the right and left ends of the other 6 of the front and rear waist portions 5 and 6. A mating member 4 (for example, gathered sheet 4) to which the temporarily fastened end portions 17 of the sticking tapes 13 are temporarily fastened by heat sealing when the diaper is not used is made from a material having an initial melting point of 125 deg.C or less, so that a heat-sealing temperature at which to temporarily fasten the temporarily fastened end portions 17 of the sticking tapes 13 is as low as 125 deg.C or less.
