PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a document server and a terminal 3 execute the management and maintenance of a document which is being used for controlling a process, and to quickly update the document, and to hold the operating process in an always optimal operating state. SOLUTION: A document server 1 set in the manufacturing maker of a control system 2 executes the maintenance and management of a manufacture book document for executing the actual control and monitor of the plant of the control system 2. A terminal system 3 set in a section for executing the operation and maintenance of the plant is used for the reference and edition of the document of the plant. The terminal 3 matches the contents of the plant document in the document server 1 with those in the control system in order to hold the plant document in the terminal.
