PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting apparatus with a miniature reflecting mirror having a large reflecting capacity of luminous flux. SOLUTION: The lighting apparatus 1 comprises a discharge light bulb 2 and the reflecting mirror 4 having a curved surface 6 in a shape rotationally symmetrical to a predetermined axis L and a reflecting surface in a shape defined by a single lane 8 intersecting with the curved surface for reflecting a light emitted by the discharge light bulb. This configuration can make the lighting apparatus thin as a whole by the size of a cut portion, since the reflecting surface of the reflecting mirror is formed in the shape with the rotationally symmetrical curved surface cut by the plane intersecting the curved surface. |
