<p>The invention suggests an up and over door comprising a door comprising a door leaf formed from a number of sections pivotally interconnected by means of hinge connections (3). Each hinge connection comprises two longitudinal hinge halves (8, 9) running in parallel and having a generally uniform sectional profile throughout its length. Each hinge half connects to a door leaf section (2) and the hinge halves being pivotally interconnected by means of at least two linkages means (10), each linkage having a pivot that defines a pivot center (p) for the hinge connection. The hinge connection has an arc shaped partition between the hinge halves, with at least two parting lines (11, 12) radially displaced relative to each other as seen from said pivot center. An interconnecting step (13) running generally in a radial direction interconnects the partition lines, the step being designed to accommodate a sealing element (14) between the hinge halves.</p> |
