<p>A device and a method for forming a mouth guard capable of preventing air from mixing therein and having a high forming accuracy, the device comprising a container (101) having an openable sealed space formed therein, a porous plate (118) disposed in the container in liftable state and having a chin pattern (121) placed thereon, a substrate (116) having a space (119) communicating with a sealed space through only the porous plate from the lower surface of the porous plate, an air compressor (114) for feeding air into the container, a vacuum pump for discharging air through the space of the substrate, an air cylinder (124) for liftably driving the substrate, a formed sheet (129) formed in contact with the chin pattern when the substrate is raised, and a heater (132) capable of forming the formed sheet by heating for softening.</p> |
