<p>A golf putting trainer (1) has a base (2) and side supports (3, 4). A rail (5) engages the side supports (3, 4) with spaced-apart pins (7) so that effective length is not limited by connection to the supports. A single adjustment mechanism (6) performs both curvature adjustment by rotation of a nut (26), and plane inclination adjustment by movement of an arm (22) in a slot (21) to a desired position. Because the mechanism (6) acts on the centre of the rail (5) the applied forces are at a minimum, only one player adjustment is required, and the plane is always consistent along the length of the rail.</p> |
