PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic damping device capable of preventing refraction in contracting operation, miniaturizing and reducing the weight of a device whole body, and installed in a narrow and small space. SOLUTION: A cylinder 2 filled with hydraulic fluid is connected to one of beam members A and A, a piston rod 3 freely drawably inserted into the cylinder 2 is connected to the other, and a piston 4 is fixed to the piston rod 3. The inside of the cylinder 2 is partitioned into first and second pressure chambers 5 and 6 contracting and expanding by the movement of the piston 4. The piston 4 is provided with a pressure control valve 13 and a constant pressure valve 14 controlling the flow of hydraulic fluid delivered from the first pressure chamber 5 contracted by the vibration, and damping the vibration. The piston 4 is provided with an oil absorbing valve 15 passing the hydraulic fluid from the second pressure chamber, when the first pressure chamber 5 is expanded by an action of the piston rod 3 entering into the cylinder 2, and moving the piston rod 3 with no resistance. The damping action is thus performed by the extension action of the hydraulic damping device 1 alone. |
