PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a railway signal transmission device with high reliability even if a transmission line is generalized. SOLUTION: In this railway signal transmission device 10 provided with a main device 20 for signal security processing of a railway and an auxiliary device 60 provided between this and the transmission line 50 for transferring a signal security transmission sentence using a built-in memory as a temporary memory, a diagnosis means 71 for diagnosing memory is provided at the auxiliary device 60, and a diagnosis means 72 for diagnosing the diagnosing means 71 is provided at the fail-safe main device 20. By such collaboration between the main device and the auxiliary device, diagnosis of the built-in memory of the auxiliary device can be executed with freedom at diagnosis by the auxiliary device itself and high reliability at diagnosis substitution by the main device.
