PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pulley rotating and holding jig held by a pulley in a stable state of a belt being tensionally extended on the pulley and providing superior workability. SOLUTION: The pulley rotating and holding jig 1 is provided with a plurality of pins 21 having shaft parts 22 and heads 23 loosely inserted in service holes 51 of the pulley 50, a housing 11 having a cylinder part 13 and a pin holding part 12 bored with a plurality of pin locking holes 15 and 16 for loosely inserting the shaft parts 22 of each pin 21, a stopper 31 engaging with the cylinder part 13 and facing the head parts 23 of each pin 21 so as to abut on them, and a ratchet wrench 41 connected with the housing 11. Loosening from the service holes of the pulley 50 is effectively prevented by tilting of each pin 21 protruding from the pin holding part 12 of the housing 11, and rotation and fixing work of the pulley 50 and watching of the pulley rotating and holding jig 1 are eliminated.
