SOLUTION: Heap detection sensors 39a to 39g are provided on a girder part 13 of a body frame 11 corresponding to heaps of the containers C. A heaped area is set based on a detection result of the heap detection sensors 39a to 39g and a lateral movement restriction area, a descending restriction area and an ascending restriction area of the containers C are set. During conveying of the containers C retained by a spreader 19, when the containers C are advanced into the lateral movement restriction area, the descending restriction area and the ascending restriction area, a conveying speed of the container C is reduced.
