PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylinder lock which is difficult in picking. SOLUTION: According to the structure of the cylinder lock, a partition plate 14 houses therein a locking bar blade of the cylinder lock, and a guide slit 16 which has a larger width than that of a blade of a duplicate key and extends to a key hole 5, is formed in an upper edge of the partition plate 14. Then, a shutter plate 17 is housed in the guide slit 16 in a vertically movable manner. The shutter plate 17 has a clearance groove 18 formed therein, for avoiding interference with a spindle 3 of a tumbler, and has its lower edges expanded like a bell, to thereby form a pair of arcuate sliding edges 19, 19.
