PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the theft, malfunction or the like of a password number or the like in a security system in which a remote operation is enabled by utilizing a communication network. SOLUTION: In a lock control system constituted so that a lock device is controlled remotely by a command signal from the communication terminal of a sender, a distance between the lock device and the sender is detected by utilizing a position sensing system such as a GPS, and the opening and closing of a lock for the lock device is controlled only when the distance is kept within tolerance.
