PURPOSE: A keyboard instrument with a key regulated by a stable key-balanced piece is provided to make the key regulated by stable balancers and to simplify the assembling work. CONSTITUTION: A keyboard musical instrument for generating tones comprises a keyboard including plural keys(21) used for specifying pitches of tones to be produced, and having respective bars(22). Each of the plural keys has at least one key balancer(24) for applying a regulative moment to each of the plural keys for varying the moment. The key balancer has a weight piece made of non-lead material and embedded in the bar of each of the plural keys and an anchor(24b) for fixing the weight piece to the bar of the each of the plural keys. The keyboard musical instrument includes a tone-generating system connected to the plural keys, to generate the tones with the pitches.
