PURPOSE: A plating strip marking apparatus is provided to reduce working time substantially and improve quality of product uniformly by getting only required marking rings stained with solution without exchange of marking rings individually according to marking types, thereby performing marking operation continuously. CONSTITUTION: The plating strip marking apparatus comprises a deflector roll for transferring plating strip; a lower base moved side to side along guide rail by cylinder; an upper base installed on the upper part of the lower base and moved back and forth along guide rail by cylinder; and a marking part installed on the upper surface of the upper base and closely adhered to the deflector roll with the plating strip being interposed between the marking part and deflector roll so that the front surface of the plating strip is marked, wherein the marking part comprises marking roll, first solution transfer roll, second solution transfer roll, third solution transfer roll, solution removing means (150), solution supply means, wherein the solution removing means (150) comprises a solution removing roll (151) which is installed on the upper part of the third solution transfer roll, and on the outer circumferential surface of which a solution control ring (151a) having solution suction holes (H) is formed; a suction pipe (152) connected to the side surface of the solution removing roll (151) to suck in the solution through the solution suction holes (H); an inhaler (153) installed at the end of the suction pipe (152); supports (154) installed at the upper base to support both ends of the solution removing roll (151); and a lowerable and liftable member (155) moved to upper and lower sides of the supports (154) with the lowerable and liftable member (155) being supported to both ends of the solution removing roll (151) by rotary power of a driving motor (M), and wherein the solution supply means comprises an outer pipe, an inner pipe, a sensor box, a push rod, a plurality of touch bars, a plurality of marking standard sensing sensors, and a rotational angle sensing sensor.
