<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a meta-data transmission method which enables efficient reception of meta-data on the reception side. SOLUTION: A plurality of meta-data streams having contents described are transmitted, and information related to each meta-data stream is transmitted as each meta-data stream information, and each meta-data stream information includes at least one of information related to the data volume of the corresponding meta-data stream and information related to description contents of the corresponding meta-data stream.</p> |
