The safety mechanism consists of an articulated parallelogram with a fixed side (1) opposite an implement (2) subject to a force, a third side (4) in the form of an arm connected to the first two sides by pivots (5, 6), and a fourth side in the form of a hydraulic cylinder (7) connected by pivots (8, 9) to the implement (2) and fixed side (1). The hydraulic cylinder is connected to a circuit containing a pressure regulator (10) and a distributor (11) that releases the pressure in the cylinder when the force on the implement exceeds a set threshold level.
