SOLUTION: The invention relates to a liquid crystal display device comprising the liquid crystal panel having a plurality of pixel electrodes formed in a matrix form, a gate driver, a source driver, and a signal processing circuit for supplying control signals and display data to the gate driver and the source driver, and the source driver comprises a D-A converter circuit for converting voltage applied to each liquid crystal pixel, a reference voltage circuit for supplying a reference voltage of the D-A converter circuit, and a two-value selection circuit for selecting two kinds of voltages to be applied to each liquid crystal pixel according to the binary data when the display data are binary, and the source driver is configured so as to be able to switch between the outputs of the gradation data and binary data to output according to the kinds of display data, and stop supplying power to the D-A converter circuit and the reference voltage circuit.
