PURPOSE: A color filter of an image sensor is provided to be capable of improving color quality and simplifying manufacturing processes without using a black filter. CONSTITUTION: The first red color filter including the first, second and third red pattern(R11,R12,R13) spaced apart from each other, is formed on a semiconductor substrate. The second red color filter(R2) is formed on the first red pattern(R11) to expose the right edge portion of the first red pattern, thereby forming a red color filter(R). A green color filter(G) includes the first green color filter having the first green pattern(G11) overlapped to the first and second red pattern and the second green pattern(G12) overlapped to the third red pattern, and the second green color filter(G2) formed on the first green pattern to expose edge portions of the first green pattern. The first blue color filter(B1) is filled into vacancy between the second red pattern and the first green pattern, and the third red pattern and the second green pattern.
