PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily secure a head margin without applying load to a computing unit for processing digital signals, or without enlarging the scale of a circuit around the computing unit, in a conventional method for securing a head margin to an input signal to reduce a level in advance and increase the level after completion of an operation to output data in order to prevent overflow of the operation at an input and output portion of a digital mixer for performing mixing processing of digital musical sound signals. SOLUTION: This serial-parallel conversion circuit sequentially inputs input serial data to a predetermined step of a shift register; fetches a predetermined bit number of data on an upper bit side of data in parallel, when a predetermined unit bit number of data are set; gives a head margin to its uppermost bit side; and outputs the data as parallel data. |
