PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an individual recognition device enabling recognition with high accuracy by reducing a decrease in individual recognition rate due to a difference in the angle of illumination to individuals and the size of face images among the individuals. SOLUTION: The individual recognition device receives from a camera 101 the input of a face image of a person 100 to be recognized, and detects his or her face from the inputted face image to recognize the person. Information about the face, including the size, direction and position of the face in the face image inputted at the time of registration, and information about the face, including the size, direction and position of the face in the face image that is inputted at the time of recognition, are displayed on a display part 104 at the same time so as to avoid a decrease in individual recognition rate due to differences in the distance from the camera 101 and the attitude of each individual. |
