摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manganese oxide thermoelectric converting material simultaneously having a high Seebeck coefficient S and a low electric resistivity &rho;while showing a stabilized high performance index in high-temperature atmosphere. SOLUTION: The manganese oxide thermoelectric converting material is provided with the structure of Perovskite (ABO3 ), and the composition of the same consists of the manganese oxide shown by a general formula as follows: (AE1-y M1y )(Mn1-z M2z )O3-&delta; (here; AE is two kinds or more of an alkaline-earth metals element, M1 is the element of one kind of two kinds or more among rare-earth elements, Sb, In and Pb, M2 is the element of one kind or two kinds or more among Ru, Nb, M, W and Ta, 0<=y<=0.5, 0<=z<=0.5, y+z>0, -0.5<=&delta;<=+0.5) while the latitude factor of the manganese oxide is higher than 0.7 and lower than 1.0.
