PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently transform to a load in which an impedance is changed. SOLUTION: A piezoelectric transformer 1 has to generators 12a and 12b, and switches 71 and 72 for switching the generators 12a and 12b to a series connection or a parallel connection. Thus, when the impedance of the load L is high, the generations 12a and 12b are connected in series to raise the output impedance, and, when the impedance of the load L is low, the generator 12a and 12b are connected in parallel, thereby lowering the output impedance.
