The invention relates to a temperature sensor (4) comprising a thermocouple (14) consisting of: a first element and a second element (20, 22) which are made from a first material and a second material respectively and which are electrically interconnected; and a protective casing (16) for said thermocouple (14). Moreover, the inventive sensor comprises a connector (18) for the electrical connection of the sensor. Said connector (18) is solidly connected to the case (30) and comprises first and second terminals (34, 36) which are connected, in the casing (16), to first and second elements (20, 22) respectively. Said terminals (34, 36) are made from a material that is different from the aforementioned first and second materials. Moreover, the temperature sensor also comprises an element (40) which is used to compensate for the temperature effect on the electrical connections (42, 46) between the first and second elements (20, 22) of the thermocouple (14) and the first and second terminals (34, 36) respectively, said compensation element (40) being disposed in the casing (16).
