摘要 |
PURPOSE: A pad driver for low power PCI is provided to reduce the power consumption and the number of pads by preventing the flow of the unnecessary power due to a switch. CONSTITUTION: An output buffer(31) has an output terminal connected with a pad(PAD). The output buffer(31) receives an output signal in response to an enable signal and drives the pad(PAD). One terminal of a pull-up resistance(Rpu) is connected with a supply voltage source. A switch(SW) is connected between the other terminal of the pull-up resistance(Rpu) and the pad(PAD). The switch(SW) is switched in response to the enable signal. An input buffer(33) has an input terminal connected with the pad(PAD). The input buffer(33) is used for buffering a signal through the pad(PAD) and outputting the buffered signal.
