PURPOSE: A dynamic noise removal circuit is provided to suppress noise on a video signal to mitigate deterioration in the picture quality, generated at a dark portion of an image. CONSTITUTION: A dynamic noise removal circuit of a display system that digitalizes an input analog signal to display the digitalized signal restricts a variation in predetermined lower bits of the digitalized signal within a predetermined width. A variation in lower 3 bits of the digital signal is restricted using the lower 3 bits and data prior to the lower 3 bits. The values of the lower 3 bits are converted into the average value of the lower 3-bit values and lower 3-bit values prior to the lower 3 bits. The values of the lower 3 bits are converted into the average value of weighted values of the lower 3-bit values and lower 3-bit values prior to the lower 3 bit.
