PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerating machine that can reduce the man-hour of on-site piping work by enabling a thin wall of connecting piping. SOLUTION: The refrigerating machine comprises a heat source unit A having a compressor 3 and a gas cooler 4, and a cooling unit B having an evaporator 6. The heat source unit A and the cooling unit B are connected via connecting piping 1 and 2. A refrigerant used is a supercritical refrigerant used supercritically. The heat source unit A is provided with a main decompressing mechanism 5, and the connecting piping 1 and 2 is designed as a low pressure side. The cooling unit A has a flow control means, and regulation of the flow control means and main decompressing mechanism 5 controls the temperature of the connecting piping 2.
