PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens barrel made compact as a whole by making the diameter of the lens barrel smaller. SOLUTION: This lens barrel has a cam ring having a cam groove for advancing and retreating a lens group frame in an optical axis direction when it is rotated around an optical axis, and a rotation ring for transmitting rotation to the cam ring. In the lens barrel, the rotation ring has at least one rotation transmitting arm extended in the optical axis direction, and the cam ring has a recessed part for fitting formed corresponding to the rotation transmitting arm on its outer circumferential surface so that the rotation transmitting arm fits, and an external flange laid to form a slit piercing in the optical axis direction on the outside diameter side of the recessed part for fitting. The rotation transmitting arm is fit in the recessed part for fitting through the slit. |
