PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter for vacuum cleaners which reduces the deformation thereof and turbulences even when exposed to hot exhausts. SOLUTION: There are arranged a filter material 8 formed in multiple folds and a spacer 9 attached to the surface of the filter material 8. The spacer 9 is made of a metal material and the rigidity of the spacer 9 keeps the filter material 8 from being swelled even against hot exhausts flowing thereinto. This achieves a smooth flow of the exhausts to eliminate turbulences thereby causing no noises involved.
