PURPOSE: A device for making a groove of a window frame is provided to easily separate a horizontal frame from a vertical frame by forming a groove in the end of the horizontal window frame. CONSTITUTION: A groove forming device(100) comprises a frame(110), a movable member(120) movably installed on the frame and reciprocating, a cutter assembly(130) installed in the movable member, a position arranging member(140) for arranging the end portion of a window frame(10) near the cutter assembly, and a window frame support member(150) for fixing the window frame. The cutter assembly has a rotating shaft installed to be rotatable by a drive unit(131), four cutters combined to the rotating shaft, spacers for spacing the cutters from each other, and an adhering piece for adhering the cutters to the spacers.
