PURPOSE: A burglarproof device using a gear lever for a manual transmission vehicle is provided to prevent the vehicle from being robbed by shutting off the operation of the gear lever. CONSTITUTION: A burglarproof device using a gear lever for a manual transmission vehicle is composed of a gear lever(10), a transmitter(20) transmitting a lock or unlock signal, a gear lever locking/unlocking unit(30) fixed on a mounting bracket(11) and locking/unlocking the gear lever, and an electronic information system(40) controlling the gear lever locking/unlocking unit when a key is inserted.
