TIME CONSTANT COMPENSATOR OF AC EXCITER

PURPOSE: A time constant compensator of an AC exciter is provided to reduce the time constant of the exciter by using a proportional integrator controller. CONSTITUTION: An automatic voltage regulator(10) is used for receiving a predetermined voltage from a generator(13) and regulating the received voltage, automatically. A control rectification device(12) is connected to the automatic voltage regulator(10) in order to output the power of the automatic voltage regulator(10) to a coil. A detector is used for detecting electromagnetic waves from the power and outputting the electromagnetic waves to the coil. The detector is connected to a rotating body(20). A time constant compensator(TCC) is connected between the automatic voltage regulator(10) and the control rectification device(12) in order to compensate a time constant by controlling a gain integer.
