PURPOSE: A direct input/output device for wide input/output DRAM macro is provided to grasp correctly an operation of an internal input/output block by driving directly an input/output block as a test input/output. CONSTITUTION: A memory core portion is formed with a plurality of memory blocks(12). A read sense amplifier and write driver portion(22) senses the data read from the memory core portion, drives the writing data to the memory core portion, performs a control operation to operate only a read sense amplifier and a write driver portion related to an input/output path for test in a test operation. A data input/output portion(34) is connected between the read sense amplifier and the write driver portion. The input/output portion(34) has a plurality of input/output blocks and operates an input/output block related to an input/output path for test in a test operation. A bypass and multiplexer portion(42) is connected between the memory core portion and the read sense amplifier and write driver portion(22).
