摘要 PURPOSE: A method for preparing a polybutadiene graft copolymer having a wide distribution of molecular weight and a rubber reinforced thermoplastic resin composition containing the polybutadiene graft copolymer prepared by the method are provided, to improve chemical resistance, impact resistance, processability and gloss. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of injecting 10-80 parts by weight of a monomer comprising a polybutadiene rubber latex, an aromatic vinyl compound and a vinyl cyano compound, 0.02-0.2 parts by weight of a peroxide, and 0.0002-0.002 parts by weight of a reducing agent into a polymerization reactor, to initiate the polymerization; inserting the monomer emulsion containing 20-90 parts by weight of the remaining monomer into the reactor slowly and continuously when the conversion rate of monomers is 20-90 %; injecting 0.0001-0.002 parts by weight of a reducing agent into the reactor at a time between 60 to 100 min after the initiation of the polymerization during inserting the monomer emulsion; and injecting 0.0002-0.002 parts by weight of a reducing agent and 0.02-0.2 parts by weight of a peroxide into the reactor at a time after the insertion of the monomer emulsion is terminated. The rubber reinforced thermoplastic resin composition comprises 20-80 wt% of the polybutadiene graft copolymer prepared by the method; and 20-80 wt% of a styrene-based copolymer with a weight average molecular weight of 80,000-200,000.
