PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data recording method for obtaining detailed data profitable for investigating the cause of a fault which occurs during the flight/travel of an airplane/vehicle or the like and is hard to reproduce later. SOLUTION: The signal (containing vibration, voice/acoustic, and raw data of a multiple bus or video) of a detector loaded on a moving object is recorded in a memory part for temporary recording, and the data are transferred to a data recorder and recorded, with the detection of fault inside the relevant moving object or required manual operation as a trigger. When the data are not required, they are erased by overwriting. Thus, the recording capacity of the data recorder is minimized, and the data required for investigation of fault cause are obtained. In this case, data to be recorded at all the time are inputted in the data recorder at all the time.
