PURPOSE: Provided is moxa with less intense flavor in burning which protects people from pain caused by strong flavor in burning the moxa. CONSTITUTION: The moxa with less intense flavor in burning is produced by the steps of: (i) putting the mixture of various moxa leaves or one leaf into a pressure steamer, cooking the leaves for 2 hours by steam and then drying them; (ii) repeating the cooking and drying process 9 times to change strong flavor into soft one and drying in shade; and (iii) allowing a crusher to crush the leaves into granules and then letting a thin sieve filter empty heads of grain.
