The turbocompressor regulator consists of an air pressure sensor (19) and a regulating signal computer (14, 15) with a first module (38) for calculating an integral for the difference between set and measured pressures. It has a second module (43) for calculating an integral from the first integral, and a decision-making system (45, 46, 47) to permit or interrupt the second module's periods of use. The regulator also has a calculator (33) for a pre-positioning signal for the regulating element (16), which is not sensitive to the differences between set and measured pressures, and the inputs of an adder (44) are connected to the outputs of the pre-positioning signal calculator (33) and the second module (43).
