PURPOSE: A method for servicing HDR(High-speed Data Rates) in a mobile communication terminal is provided to enable a user to get an HDR service continuously, though a flip or a folder of the mobile communication terminal is closed during the HDR service. CONSTITUTION: Whether an HDR service is being provided is decided(201). If not, an idle state is progressed(205), and if being provided, the HDR service is continuously provided until an optional key is inputted(202). If a key is inputted(203), whether the inputted key is an HDR service ending key is decided(204). If not, the step 202 is returned to continuously provide the HDR service. And if the inputted key is an HDR service ending key, the HDR service is ended and an idle state is progressed(205). As such, a mobile communication terminal detects the generation of an interrupt by using an event value generated during the HDR service, and decides whether the interrupt is for ending the HDR service. If not, the mobile communication terminal continuously provides the HDR service.
