<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable to cope with alternative use of a plurality of kinds of sensors easily in an equipment monitoring system. SOLUTION: This equipment monitoring system has sensors detecting the condition of a monitoring object equipment 1 and a communication terminal device 4 transmitting detected information by these sensors to a central management equipment 3, while providing a common input terminal 8t connecting plural kinds of sensors 2A, 2B, 2C, 16 and 18 selectively with the terminal devices 4. The system is provided with input control means 7, 8 and 12 which perform input processing of detected information by the sensors from the common input terminal 8t by the input mode adapted to the classification of the connected sensor according to the classification information of the connected sensor, and is also provided with sensor classification setting means 25, 26 and 29 which give the input control means 7, 8 and 12 classification information on the connected sensors of the common input terminal 8t.</p> |
