PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for sufficiently sterilizing and maintaining the sterilizing effect without damaging a safety, at a low cost and with a simple process, in living goods, hygiene goods, medical equipments, food processing equipments, and foods, particularly such as fruits and vegetables, fresh fishes and meat. SOLUTION: An antibacterial composition is composed of an adhesive containing at least one antibacterial agent or at least one layer containing an antibacterial agent and the adhesive, or the antibacterial composition is composed of at least one layer containing the antibacterial agent and at least one layer containing the adhesive. Thus, an antibacterial property is imparted even to a body having a composite shape by a simple means.
