PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outdoor machine for an air conditioner by forming a protection net for protecting a heat exchanger and a thermistor fastening member for fastening and protecting a thermistor which detects the ambient temperature as an integral mounting member. SOLUTION: In the outdoor machine, a thermistor fastening member 9 which fastens a thermistor 10 for detecting the ambient temperature and a protection net 8 for protecting a heat exchanger 5 are formed as an integral mounting member. The outdoor machine is constituted in a fastening part 14 which fastens a lead 10b connected to a sensor part 10a of the thermistor 10, a protection part 15 which protects the fastening part 14 and the sensor part 10a, and a locking part 16 mounted on the fastening part 14 and the protection part 15 to detachably lock them to each other.
