PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing ink resin varnish capable of giving printing inks which have good stability and flowability and give lustrous printed products, even when a solvent having a reduced aromatic component content is used. SOLUTION: This printing ink resin varnish is characterized by containing as essential components (A) a vegetable oil-modified, rosin-modified phenolic resin whose 50% toluene solution has an n-heptane tolerance of 300 to 1,500, (B) an organic solvent having an aromatic solvent content of <=5 wt.%, and (C) a vegetable oil. |
