PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit the occurrence, for example, of a stain on a material to be recorded due to an ink mist, etc., which can be scattered and suspended in an apparatus, when marginless recording is done in an inkjet printer. SOLUTION: When the marginless recording is applied to an end of the material P to be recorded, recording for a prescribed end area (1), which allows for an error of conveyance and the like in terms of the end of the material P, is done per one-time scanning by using a smaller number of nozzles than nozzles used in other areas (2) and (3). Thus, the amount itself of the mist of ink, which is ejected outside the end of the material P in the one-time scanning, can be reduced.
