摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ignitor circuit for an air bag device capable of maintaining a safing sensor in ON condition certainly at the time of collision without being influenced by electromagnetic noises and maintaining stably the supply of the power to a squib resistor. SOLUTION: The safing sensor SS of mechanical type is installed on a supply passage for a current to the squib resistor SQ. At the time of collision, the safing sensor SS is closed so that the current is fed to the squib resistor SQ through the sensor SS. A self-hold type relay circuit RL is installed whose current passage is connected parallel with the sensor SS. The relay circuit RL holds the current passage in the closed condition upon receiving power appearing at a node A on the output side of the sensor SS. Thereby the relay circuit RL is put in the self-hold condition and the supply of the power to the squib resistor SQ is stabilized.
