PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a thermoplastic elastomer composition for sealing a water sliding part, having excellent mechanical characteristics such as abrasion resistance, proper hardness, flexibility and followability and further having an excellent resistance to hypochlorous acid, and to provide a water sliding sealer obtained by molding the composition. SOLUTION: The thermoplastic elastomer composition for water sliding seal is characterized by containing (A) an olefinic thermoplastic elastomer composed of an ethylene propylene-based copolymer and a polypropylene resin, (B) an ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene having a weight average molecular weight of >=1,000,000 and (C) a poly-N-vinylacetoamide, by the content ratio of the three components of (A), (B) and (C) as 60-90 wt.%, 9.9-39.9 wt.% and 0.1-20 wt.%, respectively. |
