PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a film sealing device for a container, which has a simple constitution and enables effective and smooth sealing work. SOLUTION: The film sealing device comprises an operating lever 8 having a heater 11 fitted on the ends of up-and-down shafts 13 via a plate 12, and a plurality of parallel links 3, each of which is supported so as to swing freely in parallel to each other at the same level with a prescribed space formed in-between, where the front end of each link 3 is pivoted on the operating lever 8. The parallel links 3 are spring biased in the direction of raising the links by a spring 9.
