PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of increasing the efficiency of a refrigerating cycle by providing a heat exchange part allowing space saving to increase a supercooling area. SOLUTION: In cooling operation, a first solenoid valve 13 is opened and a second solenoid valve 14 is closed to exchange heat from pipe to pipe between a connection pipe 6 on the outlet side of an outdoor heat exchanger 3 and a closed circuit 9 forming a first heat exchange part 7 and continued to the suction side of a compressor 1. In heating operation, the first solenoid valve 13 is closed and the second solenoid valve 14 is opened to exchange heat between the connection pipe 6 on the outside of the indoor heat exchanger 5 and the closed circuit 9 forming a second heat exchange part 8 and continued to the fourth port d of a four-way valve 2 through pipes.
