PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rear part vehicle body structure capable of easily coping with a vehicle specification change while efficiently using existing parts. SOLUTION: A back panel 4 is provided to block an opening 3b in a rear side of a vehicle part storing recess part 3a of a rear floor panel 3 provided in a vehicle body rear part. The back panel 4 includes a lower wall 4a vertically extending to block the opening 3b, a flat surface part 4b formed in a roughly level surface with an upper surface 3d of the rear floor panel 3 by continuing from the lower wall 4a and bent backward, an upper wall 4c formed by continuing from the flat surface part 4b and bent upward, and an inclination part 4d formed by continuing from the upper wall 4c and bent upward. Consequently, a specification change of the vehicle can easily be coped with by changing only the back panel and using the existing rear floor panel.
