PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-loss Mn-Zn ferrite having a high saturation flux density. SOLUTION: The basic composition of the Mn-Zn ferrite comprises 52.4-53.7 mol% Fe2 O3 , 7.0-11.5 mol% ZnO and the balance being MnO. The Mn-Zn ferrite contains 0.005-0.01 wt.% SiO2 , 0.03-0.06 wt.% CaO, 0.01-0.06 wt.% V2 O5 and 0.01-0.03 wt.% Nb2 O5 as supplementary components and contains more than 0 to 0.04 wt.% of either or both Al2 O3 and Bi2 O3 . |
