PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste treatment system capable of reducing the generation of carbon dioxide compared with the conventional one. SOLUTION: The waste treatment system is a treatment system for shellfish and other marine products which are deposited to a seawater intake or the like, and has a decomposition mechanism 2 for decomposing the collected deposits by bacteria. The waste treatment system has the decomposition mechanism for decomposing the collected deposits of the marine products by the bacteria, as a result, the treatment can be conducted by decomposing by the bacteria not by incinerating the deposits. The marine products can be illustrated by the shellfish such as a blue mussel and a barnacle, and seaweeds.
