The fence (1) comprises several posts (2) and wire mesh panels (3) each connected in pairs to the posts. A fastener (19) is added to fix each panel to a post. Each post comprises a side wall (15) having a free edge (16) and each panel comprises at one of its ends a vertical end wire (10). The fastener has a groove (23) which is engaged at the same time on the wire and the post side wall in order to hold the end wire to the right of the side wall free edge. <??>An Independent claim is included for the placing of a fence.
